Crafted during extensive tours across Europe, Asia, and Canada, the album emerged from conversations with locals about their loves, fears, aspirations, and the pressing issues affecting societies today. Inspired by an Alan Watts lecture heard during a tour in Poland, the album encapsulates the essence of the quote: "It happens as your heart beats. You don't do anything about it. You don't force it to beat. It does it by itself. To be so of itself, the more Liberty, love, the more order you'll have." (33:15 Following The Taoist Way - Alan Watts). The genesis of "As Your Heart Beats" coincided with Demsky's poignant observation of the tragedy in Ukraine. Amidst the turmoil, he witnessed the immediate support and unity of his Polish friends, a powerful experience that highlighted the contrasting concerns and priorities of different societies.
